Remember this is a three part HOH Competition, only the first part has been completed.... (I believe). No one is out as of yet.

Zach is a bit socially challenged but he was smart enough to lay low and let everyone else underestimate him all game long and made just enough deals to get to where he is. Plus when it counted most he worked hard and won some necessary comps.
And for what it's worth, Zach won last night some 8hrs into the POV comp - Dick just physically wasn't able to hold on any longer and it was a close thing between the 2 of them altho Zach looked to be more comfortable the whole way along. Both looked very spacey and hypothermic when they got off their carrots and were really done in by the whole event and how long it lasted. For once Daniele was fairly decent and took care of both of them, making them tea, soup, grilled cheese sandwiches and hot water so they'd feel better.

Yeah, I haven't been watching anything but the actual shows that air during prime time...

Ya, I meant at what hour did she drop out? I read that Zach and Dick went to about 7.5 hours so I was wondering what time Danielle dropped out of that competition. (Like 3 hours? 5?) Hope that made more sense.

I can't be the only one sick of hearing about how Zach laid low in comps and is turning it on now. Its alot easier to win things when you are fighting two, three, four people, them three times that.
Less competition = Zach winning more.

No, you're not alone. Other things I'm sick of hearing:
1. Prayers for strength, Oh God, to win this competition, Oh Lord.
2. Golden Power of Vee Toe ("veto" doesn't need to be pronounced like two separate words)
3. Daniele's whining (esp. complaining about people not keeping their word)
4. Dick "tellin' it like is" (i.e., getting people's faces and being an obnoxious ass)

I wonder if Dick is gonna give Danielle the the second competition with out even trying. I think this would be good strategy, especially if it is an endurance comp.
The Donatos will still have a 50/50 chance to win it all.

That's the smart play for Dick. If Zach wins HoH, he would probably do well to take Dick with him into the finals because he might get the votes.
Daniele's probably got a better shot against Zach in most competitions relative to Dick's chances against Zach. If Daniele wins HoH, then she's likely to take her dad to the finals because
a) she thinks she'll get more votes than he will; and/or
b) she wants to gurantee at least one Donato will win
Even with a win by Dick, Daniele stands to gain because of her dad's need to get back in touch with her, buying her stuff and taking her places.

PoV's: HoH's
Week 1: Danielle Kail
Week 2: Danielle Jen
Week 3: Jen Dick
Week 4: Jameka Dustin
Week 5: Jen Danielle
Week 6: Dick Jessica
Week 7: Danielle Danielle
Week 8: Eric Jessica
Week 9: Danielle / Zach Zach / Dick
Week 10: Danielle Zach
Week 11:
In total Danielle has won 5 PoV's and 2 HoH's - Pretty good if you ask me!
Zach has won 2 HoH's and 1 PoV, the same as Dick.
The real thing I find impressive is the only weeks Dick / Danielle did not win PoV or HoH were in weeks 8 and 4. I guess that gives you quite a bit of power in the house.
I really hope Zach wins HoH this week and kicks off Danielle. I believe he would win against Dick in the final two.

Having watched the whole of the first part, I can say without spoiling anything, that were I Dick I'd throw it to Daniele because she's even sharper at competitions than he is and he's pretty wrung out by the endurance comp. Check YouTube if you want to actually see the condition they both were in once it was all over....
I hope that Zach does manage to win the overall HoH competition merely because I can't stand the idea of the Double D's winning all the $$ out there. I think Zach's game was understated and that he could win against Dick who has been nothing but obnoxious and vile to each member of the jury while Zach's been pretty harmless and has positioned himself well with some of them (like Jameka maybe).

I could only find this: "The winner receives $500,000 and the runner-up receives $50,000."
That really amazes me that 2nd place only gets $50,000. To think that Eric got $40,000 plus whatever he gets for his finish plus staying in sequester. I bet he ended up getting more then 2nd place.
Anyone have an idea on what 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc, get?
I have read that they get $1000 a week while in sequester.

I never thought to Wikipedia Big Brother... some things make more sense now, some don't. Like Zach having the balls to stand up to the Donato's. Could have done that with Eric by your side... bah well...
Nice history lesson there... I don't remember a lot of those, but missed seasons 2-4 I think...

Spoiler: Part 2 of the final HOH Competition/Winner
Dick beat Daniele in part two of the HOH competition. Zach had already won Part 1. Therefore, Part 3 will be live on Thursday's show and it will be Zach vs Dick. Whoever wins part 3 is in the final two and can choose who they want to sit with in the final two. Should be interesting!

A little surprising that:
Dick didn't let Danielle win. She has been money in the most important competitions.

Now that Dick won Part 2 I believe this increases Zachs change of winning the third and final competition.

Not to take anything away from what Daniele's accomplished, but I don't think those numbers give a fair description of what each contestant faced.
Early on, the POV competitions only involve 6 houseguests. You need to be either HoH, on the block or one of three others selected to participate. I don't have any of the information in front of me, but I would wager that Zach may not have been involved in a lot of POV competitons and his lack of POV wins early on could be an indication of that. Obviously peopel who are on the block a lot have more chances to win POV than others who are rarely nominated.
Likewise, early HoH wins are probably a bigger deal given the number of people you are competing against compared to HoH later on in the game. However, many houseguests openly admit to throwing early HoH competitions (or even PoV when they aren't on the block) in order to avoid ruffling any feathers.

She still tied a Big Brother record for the most ever POV wins. Personally I believe Danielle is the best player and she should win. The show does a great job of editting to give the fans a certain view of each player it could be missleading to a certain extent.
