Default Getting Car Antenna Replaced

Hey guys!

I was just wondering if any of you have had experience with having your car antenna (for radio) replaced. My radio stopped working in early July and I took to Futureshop to have them look at it (I had just bought a new stereo from them and they installed it) and they said that there was nothing wrong with the stereo and it must be the antenna.

Do you know how much replacing the antenna would cost?

I drive a 1989 Honda Civic DX.

Thanks in advance!

I let A&B install a new CD Deck in my old car - and the idiots cut the antenna wire while ripping out the factory deck. They taped it back together which works for FM, not AM and I by the time I figured this out it was too late to lay the blame.

Test to see if it really is the antenna - pull it the headunit, plug in a borrowed antenna and see if it really is the antenna or not. Depending on if you want a factory look alike or just a generic whip one it can be cheap or really expensive - hit up a Pickapart if you want a factory match.
