Default Autographed Hockey Stick

I was cleaning out my stuff to move into my new house and I found Joe Nieuwendyk's stick that I got back in '92 (I believe) autographed by the entire team. What is the best way to protect soemthing like this from damage but hopefully keeping it on display?

Thanks.

A stick is pretty versatile, it's not going to get damaged by hanging on your wall nor is the ink going to really fade. If you notice, the hockey hall of fame keeps much older and much valuable sticks in nothing but plain-jane glass display cases. If you're worried about it getting wet or damaged, you can get a clear acrylic rectangular box for it.

Yea, not too worried about it just hanging there. Its when I have friends and friends of friends over that stuff happens. Its not super valuable, but I like it and I'd like to keep it in good condition. I'll look into that acrylic thing - would offer a bit of safety and increase the "don't mess with it" factor by a ton.

I would get a couple of felt-covered hooks, and a plaque saying something like "Joe Nieuwendyk game stick, 1992, signed by the Calgary Flames" to display beneath it. As long as it looked classy.

Don't worry about a case. Or protective coating or anything. If it is game-used, scratches are on it anyways. And if people take it down and start playing with it, beat the living crap out of them.
