what was E-bay's problem with the acution the first time. If someone is dumb enough to buy some dudes shirt because they think it is lucky and will attract chicks then I say let and E-bay should have just been happy collecting whatever commission they earn off of the idiot.

I get the feeling that this dude's idea of what constitutes picking up a chick is somewhat different than most peoples.
I imagine it goes something like this:

 "Hey, nice shirt...he he he"
"Really? Thanks, it does make me look pretty studly"
 "Oh yeah...he he...for sure"
 (Silently to self) "SCORE"

Looks a lot like the shirt that Lee Harvey Oswald was wearing on Nov. 22, 1963.

If this guy really picked up that many chicks with this lucky shirt there is no way he would get rid of it for anything less than 500 grand.

I'd argue if he really picks up so many chicks with that shirt, there's no way he'd be giving it up, period.

Unless he somehow turned gay

He says, "I have recently gotten engaged but my fiance will only agree to marry me if I get rid of the shirt as she knows the history behind it."

I can't believe it sold for $405 US. There's an idiot (or idiots since there were 27 bids) born every minute.

I wish we still had the old theads to look back on, that one was a classic!!!!

I hate to speculate on a stranger's hygiene, but would it be reasonable to assume that he washed the shirt at least avery second time he wore it? Hell, even if the guy only washes it every third use, thats at least 180 washes. I think this shirt should be marketed as the invincible shirt rather than the woman magnet, cause any shirt that be washed 180 times & still appear to be in good shape is amazing in it's own right.
 ps, people are stoopid

The bids don't look right either. The Elton guy that won, at one point raised his own bid by $100. That is kinda fishy. I guess he should have taken the $1000 that the guy in the story offered him.
