Tiger Woods'08 for xbox 360

I was at Eb games today and I was going to buy the new TW'08 and the guy in the store told me it was locking up halfway through....anyone have hte game and experience this? I've been playing the demo and was really looking forward to having the game. so yeah any help would be awesome.

i haven't heard this. i almost bought it myself yesterday.

it looks awesome. I'll have a look around at my usual spots and post to this thread if i see anything.

EA is admiting the issue with the game locking up midway through a challenge on their TW'08 website says they are looking into it, from what I've been reading Online challenges work fine, I went and bought it anyway and the regular rounds seem fine, a few inconfistancies with auto club selection, giving me a SW with 135 yards when a LW hits 88 and I'm 79 yards out, but otherwise a pretty fun game.
