Joey Harrington looked decent last night vs the Bengals. Maybe the absense of Vick will help the Falcons passing game.

Kevan Barlow was cut by Pitt
Tim Dwight was cut by Jets.

Jeremy Bloom cut...wow.
I'd love to see him in Denver but I don't think they have room.

I saw one game he was in, and he was absolutely useless. I don't know if it is because of last years injury, but he was tentative on kick returns, ran poor routes and dropped a reasonably easy completion.
I'd be surprised if he can contribute anywhere.

What the NCAA did to him was a tragedy.

Agreed. It's fine and dandy for the NCAA to throw his name on jersey's and make money off him, but when it comes to allowing him to pursue another sport at an Olympic calibre through sponsorships they say no?? Something is wrong there.
Bloom wrote an article highlighting his side of things. Quite an interesting read:
http://findarticles.com/p/articles/m...28/ai_n6198386
My favourite part:
"Before the first road trip of my collegiate career, Coach Barnett made it mandatory to wear a sport coat to the game. At the time I didn't own a sport coat, so I borrowed one from one of our trainers. The following week, during my weekly phone call from our compliance office, someone informed me that, due to NCAA rules, I would be fined $35 for a "rental fee.""

Kenton Keith wil be the #2 RB to Addai in Indy.
Any Saints fans suprised about cutting your 3 round RB Pittman? A lot of people had good things to say about this kid

I agree, I hate how athletes are treated by NCAA and Bloom is the poster child.
I'd like to see 4 year players be eligable for scholorships for a 5th year, I'd like to see a program where 4 year players who graduate with say a 2.75 GPA or higher recieve a small amount for their time and effort to the college, like 2 - 5 k or something.

A little, but Payton obviously thought Pierre Thomas was the better option, and he significantly outplayed Pittman in training camp. Payton has shown in the past with Colston and Evans, that playing time is about results rather than draft position.

He looked fairly decent in the first preseason game, but after that was exactly like you said. Bloom also had that nagging toe injury, which Andy Reid was quoted as saying he was "tired of hearing about it."

Interesting to see that today the Broncos signed Simeon Rice for their D line. I wonder if Shanahan is worried about the losses of Warren and Co this past couple weeks.
BTW Dis....I replied to your PM of the other day.....get it OK?
