Beats out the
2) Yugo
3) Ford Pinto
4) Pontiac Aztec ( One survey respondent remarked of Pontiac's crossover vehicle: "There must have been a front-end design team and a rear-end design team. And the two teams never spoke to each other!")
5) Chevy Vega
Survey respondents likened the Pacer to a "pregnant roller skate" that went "0 to 60 in 4 1/2 hours," with one person observing, "AMC's only conceivable excuse for this engineering and stylistic horror would be if their 1970s design crew was tripping on massive quantities of acid."

if thats a honda element... I think this beats it out:
Though I am willing to bet the Quality of this car is better than the element, I just think it looks ugly

It may look like a bulemic's lunch but the G-Class is an amazing vehicle.
It cant even compare to the aesthetic bile that is the Pontiac Aztek or the pure random incendiary power of the Ford Pinto not to mention the requirement to purchase 3 Yugos to keep one running or the awesome ugly sluggishness of the Chevy Vega.
As much disdain as I have for the Honda Element, it's ugliness is nothing compared to the Aztek. Remember, this is an SUV who's redeeming quality was a tent that could be put up on the tailgate.

I remember listening to the Flames games on CHQR and they would play that stupid Yugo commercial almost on a loop during hockey talk. No wonder Yugoslavia no longer exists. It's because of the damn car. hehe
The ugliest car now still has to be a smart car. I dont' care if it's earth friendly. I feel sorry for anyone who drives one.

The top 5 listed are certainly worthy, but honourable mention has to go those rust-bucket Honda Preludes from the 1980s. I've never know a model of car that rusted out so fast and so universally.

I have to admit, and do so proudly, that I own an Aztek. I happen to like the way it looks. Especially the first year version, the one I have. I think it is unique and distinctive; not ugly as others think. For the record, and you may find this odd, I think the Element is the ugliest car out there.

Someone wrote on here once that they saw Dion Phaneuf driving a G500. Anyone remember that?
Those things are cool. If I could afford one (which I can't) and had no conscience (which I don't) I'd drive one.

My dad had a Vega, I didn't think it was that bad. It beat the hell of the Datsun we had before that, you could actually see the roadway underneath the car if you looked down past the stickshift; it also rusted out so fast you could almost hear the oxygen crunching away at the metal.
