"Pwnd" is the greatest word that the internet has given birth too. Im also fond of "teh" for some reason.


"First!!" is in relation to message boards, usually of gaming sites like WoW, where a forum moderator would start an official thread or even just make a comment in an existing thread, and it became a big thing to have the first reply after said moderator post. It just meant that you were quickest person to reply, even though the reply of "First!!" was completely meaningless.

the main reason for the "first" phenomena is Fark, where some nerds thought it was a special achievement to get the first post in a thread that gets hundreds if not thousands of responses. i really like their solution to the problem though, replacing all threads that start off "First" with "Boobies"
