I've seen them a couple of times with Sammy.

I don't think I'll bother this time. I'm sure they can still play, but I'm thinking they won't get past Cleveland before they boot Diamond Dave again.

I've seen Van Halen 5 times in concert, a couple of times with Diamond Dave in the lineup and the other three with Sammy Hagar (Sammy Hagar Van Halen was just better)

I doubt that I'll waste the money to go see this show, as talented as they are, they're also old, and unless they do something like release an unbelievable single, this is just a greatest hit concert, ala Lover Boy on the Coca Cola stage.

The last time I saw them just before Hagar was punted, it was really apparent that the band couldn't stand each other at all, and thats really too bad.

Plus David Lee Roth is just pathetic now.

Saw them with Sammy once. One of my bigger disappointments. His voice was toast. Eddie was hammered. It would have been a total disgrace if some band named Alice in Chains hadn't saved the day by doing a killer opening.

Saw Dave solo 4 years ago in Richmond, VA and he wasn't half bad. They're all idiots for all the bickering and crap they've gone through. Just STFU and play some music already.

A lot can happen in 4 months. We'll see if they ever make it.

No doubt. And if he makes it past Cleveland they still have 20 dates to go before they get to Calgary. Does Eddie have a son that can sing?

We should make it a pool to see how long they last.

I'm sticking with Cleveland. The whole Rock and Roll Hall of Fame thing will cause a squabble.

Hoping they make it to Calgary. I'll be at the front of the line to buy tickets.. OK, that's a lie. I will do it on company time on the internet.

I remember hearing a year or two ago that Van Halan had asked David Lee Roth to rejoin the band and when he yes, they turned around and said no, lol.

No Sammy Hagar? No Michael Anthony? Not interested.

My bet is that by the time they reach Calgary, Gary Cherone will be doing the lead vocals.

I dunno man, I want to go but the whole deal with Eddie's kid on Bass is just stupid. Really, who cares about the little . On top of that we don't get Anthony's backup vocals.

I'll probably end up going just to see that crazy old muppet, David Lee Roth.

Gary Cherone sucked for VH, but I like his own work!

As far as this, I anticipate EVH getting hammered and wasted and throwing a pissing contest and smashing his guitar. Also, weren't they bickering and kicked out the guy who plays bass? Replacing him with Eddie's kid?

Dave is embarassing now, he is fat, ugly, his voice is gone as well. Sammy too. Sad.

Sammy can still sing, and still put on a pretty good show, Michael Anthony was playing gigs with him last year, and the footage I saw of the concert was pretty kick @ss.
DLR is a old man that's gonna try jumping of a stack and end up breaking a hip. Ed must be running low on cash or something cause this is gonna be a disaster!!!

Did someone post about seeing David Lee Roth at Flames Central a few months ago?
