95% of the members here probably have no idea that is a photo of a Flames logo from my nose. Gotta be 20 years ago now. Still impressed with my "artwork."

My rock days ended a few years ago. One of my band mates passed on during COVID and I just didn’t have a desire to carry on. The band retired.
Our greatest achievement was opening for April Wine in front of 4000 people.
That and a casino gig which was super cool!
Now I just pick up the “Axe” when the opportunity presents itself.

It was at a bar on the nascent Red Mile after a Flames win in round 1 of the playoffs in 2004. josef was in from Germany and calgARI was in from New York; KevanGuy and I took our guests out for some libations, where some Canuck fan was getting lippy even after his team lost. It got confrontational but cooler heads prevailed. IIRC, it was a long time ago.
