To be fair they're not far off from that territory lol.

No one in this conference outside of central #1-3 win games consistently.

Right now a win streak of any magnitude can leapfrog you over teams quickly.

Lots of people have...check the terribly aging first posts in the trade threads. In fact in the GT it was suggested the 6th overall pick would net you a 5th dman or 3rd liner let alone a late pick.

Won 60% of face offs. Looked ok certainly worth a few more games this season

Gridin is the most exciting forward prospect since the Gaudreau/Tkachuk/Monahan days!

The Pacific is SO pathetic…

Ah, heck. To hell with all the “tank” talk!

Let’s win the next twelve and sneak into playoffs!

But the rest of our under 23 players are still very early in their development. To suggest that we're starting to emerge from the rebuild is silly.

Tampa was on the 2nd half of a back to back and playing their backup goalie. Context matters.
I never said anything about under 23 year olds. Thats your definition. A definition that is silly. I promise you that the next stanley cup champion will not all be the same age.

This team is finding the same identity as last years that finished strong. But with a significant turnover of veterans and injection of youth. As painful as this season has been I still love cheering on the culture the Flames have built.

Loved the fact that Gross’s mom was wearing a decade old Monahan jersey. Real Flames fans obviously

It's so much easier to be the second half of a back-to-back.

Frost is playing his best hockey as a Flame right now.

Strome and Maatta continue to play well. Olofsson doesn't look out of place either.

Whitecloud is a stalwart. Brzustewicz continues to grow. There is no way the defense should be this solid, but here we are.

Backlund and Coleman had solid games as well.

Yeah...I was pretty critical of Frost the other day. Hes played great the last two games. This is a huge opportunity for him. He needs to take it.

Flames came into this year with three guys at similar points in their careers in Frost, Farabee, and Sharangovich who were all still kind of searching for an identity, and I think they've all taken huge strides towards finding themselves over the last 20-30 games. To me, that's huge, either in terms of the Flames being able to use them going forward or selling them for value.

Frost in particular is very interesting ... if he's legitimately a fit between Gridin and Coronato, do we see CGY lock him up long-term?
