Final weekend of the WHL regular season.
Tigers will need a miracle to pass PA for 1st in the East. Pretty much need them to lose both games vs the Blades while the Tigers need to win both vs. the Rebels.

Call me crazy, but I think I'd rather the Tigers finish 2nd and play Regina in the opening round. Let PA finish in 1st place and play the Rebels.

The Tigers have been pummeling both Red Deer and Regina all season, not really worried about either team to be honest. But either way, those two teams are in a tighter battle for 7th and 8th seed than the Tigers are for 1st and 2nd seed. Regina only one point ahead of Red Deer both with two games left as well.
I don't think PA or Med Hat are worried about either of those teams, although PA's only two losses in their last 10 were both against Red Deer haha.
Saskatoon @ Edmonton
Brandon @ Calgary
Those two matchups seem set though.

Brandon and the Hitmen is a toss up imo. I'd like to see Saskatoon upset the EOK.

Stengrim now has 6 goals in his last 3 games. Heating up at just the right time.

PA clinched with a 4-0 win.
Meaningless game tomorrow for the Tigers, hopefully no one gets injured.
The Rebels on the other hand could miss the playoffs if they lose and the Warriors win, so they will be giving it everything they've got. Regina also lost so they haven't clinched a playoff spot either. Pretty huge night tomorrow for those three teams.

No Woo, Pickford, or Cunningham tonight (just precautionary to guard against injury).

No defense at the Dome tonight. 5-5 Hitmen-Canes after 2.

Still 4-1 Tigers in the first lol
That 3 team playoff race is like a turtle race.
Regina already lost, failing to clinch, and Red Deer getting smashed early on, but Moose Jaw is losing at home to the Broncos, the worst team in the league when a win would get them in.
I guess none of these teams really want to get embarrassed for four more games this season hahaha

Moose Jaw about to lose to Swift so it'll be the following series' in round 1 in the East
1 Raiders vs. 8 Rebels
2 Tigers vs. 7 Pats
3 Oil Kings vs. 6 Blades
4 Hitmen vs. 5 Wheat Kings
I predict:
Raiders in 4
Tigers in 4
Oil Kings in 6
Hitmen in 5

Tigers might want to rest Basha and the Ruck twins in period 3.

Tigers have a little bit of a goaltending dilemma as I would argue that Casey was just a shade better than Switzer down the stretch. I think Switzer gets the nod due to his experience, but he's on a short leash.
