A kings win and oilers loss tonight would be massive

The other Florida team shutout the Pigs, Bolts. Don't lose to the Pigs.

31st and 32nd best teams beat panthers. Oilers? Lose to panthers.

Relegation candidates.

How is Kopitar playing? Has he just called it a day on his career?

even though i never want the Oilers to make the playoffs, it wouldn't bug as much this year as i think they have zero chance...LV on the other hand i am praying for a miss and lottery win.

having said that, i hope they never win another game.

Until it's not possible, let's cheer for both Edm and Vegas to miss.

What could go wrong with Dr. Sprockets?

Stories that start with unorthodox German doctors don't tend to end well.

Unorthodox and Munich in the same sentence just means Drunkard

This smacks of desperation. Makes you wonder if he’s been told he will likely miss the playoffs too.

I suspect the doctor is dead sober.

According to the article, part of his treatment is homoeopathy – which, right away, shows that he is, if not a quack, skirting perilously close to the boundary of quackdom.

If he is also prescribing homoeopathic doses of beer for himself, then he's probably the driest guy in Munich during Oktoberfest.

Maybe it's Dr. Oetker, and Leon will be going on a steady regimen of frozen pizza and fruit-flavoured powdered puddings

EDIT: Read the article. Draisaitl will be healed by Dr. Wolf Fart

But, but, but…. I thought if you diluted a substance enough that there was no measurable amount of the substance left, it became even stronger as the ESSENCE of the substance… Imagine how strong German beer would be if it was diluted with enough water that there was no actual beer left.

So… between a quack or the Edmonton Oilers medical staff?

This imbroglio ends up in litigation.

Diluting NO GOOD makes the NO GOOD stronger!

If I had the severe misfortune of being associated with the Oilers, given their systematic failures on the player medical front, I’d travel to the ends of the earth as well.
Draisital looks much more relaxed an at peace in that interview. And got to talk to Bayern players etc. He’s where he’d rather be.
The pause after “I’m in Munich until Tuesday and uhh *long pause* I guess I’ll go back.” is telling.
30 seconds after this interview my guess he’s figuring out where else he can stop on the way back to Edmonton first.

My problem with Edmonton making the playoffs is the playoff format. The oilers path to the conference finals would be through the other terrible pacific teams unless they end up in wild card #2. That’s the easiest route to a conference final in the whole playoffs. They have had ridiculous luck in the playoffs recently and this would be another example. Meanwhile… Colorado, Dallas and Minnesota will break each other down till the winner of that bracket is a shell of its former self. Because of this, I’ll take Edmonton missing the playoffs instead of Vegas.

Elliotte was given commands from up top to pour water on this during the Leafs intermission.

I think Elliotte carries water for anyone who pays. I simply no longer find him worthy of my trust with stories.
