I dunno, cartels generally leave tourists alone. Things will settle down but a lot of people will cancel their Mexico vacation plans so might be some great deals.
I would go down there but I understand why many would not, my sister is down there now and totally freaking out but she's a nervous traveller at the best of times.

Late to add to this but I just checked 10 days in July and all are on a Q400. Things change but as of right now, the only way you get a jet is if you connect but the second leg is back to a Q400 anyway.
Like someone else said....book a seat up front of you can.

I’m currently on the Namibian side of the Orange River, crossing into South Africa tomorrow. I’m on a cycling trip. I have also been to Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia on this trip. I finish in Cape Town with a few days in the city.

I unfortunately had to fly Flair to YVR last night, it's really the only option for last minute unless you want to pay something absurd.

The boarding process is diabolical with people trying to cram stuff into those sizers. I hate what air travel has become on so many levels.
