That's too bad, they were up 3-1 at one point.

Goaltending has been a bit underwhelming this year. Hopefully Zarubin can come in next year with Prosvetov coming off the books.

I didn't hear about C Ryan Chyzowski getting the call-up, but he is named third-star in his first game with the Wranglers, with 1g.

Wranglers fall to the Canucks in the SO, by a score of 3-2. Morton was third-star, with 1g, and a +1.

Both Kirkland and Stromgren miss in the SO, while Ben Berard and Chase Stillman score.

Sergeev stops 40 of 42. He is 3-5-6-0, with a 3.24 GAA, and a .897 SV%.

Abbotsford wins a second straight by 3-2 in the shootout, although the Wranglers heavily outshot the baby Canucks 38-19. Suniev and Kirkland scored a minute and a half apart late in the 3rd to erase a 2-goal deficit. Kirkland also scored in the shootout. Sergeev gave up 2 goals on 19 shots, and 2 more goals in 6 shootout attempts.

Wranglers fall to Coachella Valley, 4-2.

Sergeev stops 17 of 21. He is 3-6-7-0, with a 3.20 GAA, and a .893 SV%.

Coachella Firebirds defeat the Wranglers 4-1. Kirkland (unassisted) with the lone Calgary goal.

Prosvetov (35 shots -32 saves) with the loss.

Blake Bennett to the WBS Penguins for future considerations. Bennett was assigned to ECHL Wheeling

Then Wheeling traded Cole Tymkin, Eric Parker, and a player to be named later to the Rapid City Rush.

That was a good burst of speed.

Not bad for a guy that was thought to be one the worst skaters in his draft class.

Good sign, considering that is really his only weakness.
