ANOTHER wrestler found dead. WTF is going on at the WWF?

This makes

Yokozuna, Rick Rude, British Bulldog, Mr. Perfect, Brian Pillman, Eddie Guerrero, and a few others in the last few years.

Sadly, this isn't even remotely shocking anymore.

The WWE is the quintessential argument for why Unions need to exist in a modern economy/society.

Don't know if you can blame the WWE for this one, he'd been out for some time, and spent a bunch of his career in the WCW and in the independants.

they've never released the details of Bam Bam's death, but it sounded like it was under questionable circumstances.

I don't know if you're replying to me or not, I just used WWE as an all ecompassing term for the north american wrestling industry.

No fool, to keep from people dying.

Son, back in the "industrial revolution" days, many work places had unsafe practises that resulted in injury or death. Although nowadays you don't see too many deaths at textile mills, you do see wrestlers dying because the best way many of them can be compeditive ... is to pump their a$$ full of steroids.

The issue though is that some industries should NOT have unions. I'd probably like my job if there wasn't a union and I was making what I'm worth. If I had a raise every time I got a commendation, I'd be a rich woman.

And if you got a raise every time you got a commendation, you wouldn't have received very many commendations.

Most non-union companies are horrible at giving 'awards' to their employees... y'know.. the whole "if I'm really that good, pay me like it" mentality.

I know how many commendations I send through. I could send through more if they meant more. I'm talking client commendations. That's what the business is run on. Good customer service. There's a reason I'm "High Value" and it's not because I'm a phone sex operator.

Huh, and here I thought 'firefly fixed my bill' was a euphamism for something else...

Not really. You can still be a pretty built person w/o steriods. Also I think good story lines and great characters draw people to pro wrestling, not overly inflated buff men.

As we have found out recently with Benoit, the WWE tests arn't 100% correct. I don't think that the companies are to blame. TNA also brining in a drug pollicy. The big 2 are doing thier due dilligence. I fully think it's the wrestler's responsabilities to do the right thing, and change thier ways. Back in the 80's and early 90's back stage was like a rock concert, drugs and women everywhere. Ted Dibaise stated that in a recent interview on CNN. There are definatly more drugs than just roids, as the media is leading people to believe, involved with these deaths, Curt Hennig (Mr. Perfect) died from a cocaine OD in the toxology report. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curt_Hennig
I wouldn't be at all surprised if it would be the same for Brian Adams
