Trump just killed his father, mother, wife, and child. And some reports say he lost a leg in the bombings.
By all accounts he's even more of a hardliner than his father.
His appointment by the regime is a double down, and likely to push things further into extremism, in my opinion.

The thing that gets me is we see all this mass celebration that Khomenei sr was killed, but it looks more and more like regime change is off the table. Was this really worth celebrating if you are getting the same crap with Khomenei jr?
Orange pedo ghoul is making everyone look like fools by believing him yet again. The world seemingly will never learn.

There was celebration buy Iranian people, both in Iran and abroad. Khomeini killed tens of thousands of Iranians people. If the people of Iran believe it is worth celebrating, then it’s worth celebrating.
I don’t think this war is close to over. Like I said before, I don’t think you can call this a success without a real change of the regime.

Right, and it needs to be a change for the better. But there's no plan for that, so if it does change for the better - somehow better for Iranians and better from the perspective of the Israeli and American attackers - then it will just be by accident. That's not going to happen. Success in Iran isn't necessarily success for Israel and the USA. They all have competing needs, priorities, objectives, etc. Who gets to say what success looks like? Americans? Israelis? Iranians?
I mean, come on. This is a disaster. A humanitarian disaster. An environmental disaster. A political disaster. A financial disaster.
Straight up: are you stupid?

My belief is if the people of Iran are happy with a new regime, then it’s a success.

It won't be quick. That atleast is certain.
6 months? A year? 2 years, 5+ years?
And while that continues, 50 more civilian deaths, 100 more civilian deaths, 500 more civilian deaths.
If US/Israel actually cared about the people of Iran, they would have gone about this in...just a tiny bit more strategic manner? But no, they had no plans whatsoever and completely underestimated the response. All of these regimes are run by dumb ####s who don't give a #### about their own citizens.

At this point it's like 90/10 the people of Iran end up in a neutral or worse position than before this started. Trump and Netanyahu couldn't care less about them and will 100% sell them out (or worse) if it gets the US and Israel what they want.

I would agree with that. Unfortunately, history tells us the citizens will almost certainly end up worse off.
Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Libya. All are various shades of failed states where terrorists now thrive.
Iran is at least as complex as these other countries, probably more complex. How do you get a government that can govern such a diverse country?
But that is what happens long-term. In the short-term if the US wants regime change I think it has to be boots on the ground and a long war, probably like Afghanistan.

A refueling tanker has gone down in Iraq as part of operation Fisting of Fury or what ever this crapshow is called, that's another 4 dead airmen as the tankers dont have any way out when they go down, it's incidental to the 'Special Ed' Military Operation' I guess as not due to enemy fire but those poor airmen are still dead
