The Ovie trade ended up being the best move we made all year. Since then we’ve been rolling, from battling for a playoff spot to potentially facing the Leafs in round one. Going with depth over one big-name player really paid off. Nothing against Ovie, it just wasn’t the right fit. And if there’s ever a team to help me finally get out of the first round… history says the Leafs are a good place to start.
