He had surgery on Super Bowl Sunday...they knew he wouldnt be healed yet. Guy is going to recover and be elite at his position. Somebody should pay up.

Problem is the market has changed considerably since Friday. Some potentially interested teams have filled their needs, or used their cap space. Definitely not getting two firsts anymore, might be lucky to even get one at this point.

You cant give him away, if you cant get what you want now let him rehab. This is the last guy you would worry about putting the work in. He was at the Raiders practice facility today working out. Crosby with a massive chip on his shoulder is gonna be scary.

You'll love him....so will Drake. Tremendous route runner.

Easiest way to describe him is....reliable and tough.

He will go over the middle and not lose focus if there is a safety or someone about to try and snot bubble him.

He wears that guardian helmet too.....looks like gazoo runnin around on the field.

Love is gonna really miss him.

Well, basically a reversion to the Houston Oilers is a choice. I liked the dark blue and light blue uniform sets with the shot of red in there…this just seems lazy and basic.

The owner has seemed very protective of the Oilers IP these past years so clearly decided to simply dust it off and change the name.

Just need the Chargers to make the powder blues permanent. Also, the Dolphins should go back to the Dan Marino jerseys.

I personally disliked the Titans current color scheme but did like the old Houston Oilers one. Although with the current Titans one being around for nearly 30 years, the timing does seem strange. It would be like the Hurricanes or Avalanche saying...our old Whalers and Nordiques color schemes were so much better, we're going back to them. Might make a general fan of the sport happy, but probably would annoy the hell out of the teams fans.

These things are subjective of course, but to me, the (until yesterday) current Titans scheme was looking pretty dated. 2000s vibes for sure, I'd go so far as it being the worst base uniform in the league - which is quite the tumble, given the Houston Oilers uniform is in GOAT territory against a few others.

Glad ownership finally figured that out, it's a shame such an elite alternate uniform just sits in a closet collecting dust. The new one could use some tweaks, but even simply moving back to that colour scheme is a big move in the right direction.

Late Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay's memorabilia collection brought in $93,656,609 during live auctions from Thursday to Saturday with Christie's, with online auctions ongoing.

Christie's pre-auction estimates for the items being sold in March was $40 million.

While Irsay's collection was heavily music-focused, a number of notable sports items sold: the saddle used by jockey Ron Turcotte as he rode Secretariat to the 1973 Triple Crown sold for $1.524 million, the most ever paid for a horse racing item; the Edmonton Oilers jersey Wayne Gretzky scored his 500th NHL goal in sold for $952,500; Muhammad Ali's fight robe from Ali vs. Liston II -- his first public appearance after changing his name from Cassius Clay -- sold for $444,500; a Jackie Robinson bat from the 1953 season sold for $406,400; and a Mead spiral notebook containing 28 pages of Sylvester Stallone's original "Rocky" script sold for $508,000.

Mega QB controversy in KC soon...

https://twitter.com/user/status/2033559945082249373

...in all seriousness they need a decent backup with Mahomes coming off the ACL, and thats what Fields is. Maybe Andy might even run a QB sneak again, who knows?

Chiefs are expected to send a 2027 6th-round pick to the Jets in exchange for QB Justin Fields
The Jets will eat a large portion of Justin Fields' salary, helping facility the trade to KC. Fields is due $10M guaranteed.

It's a good move for Fields to be coached under Reid. I don't think he's ever going to be a full time starter in the NFL but he could carve out a long career as a backup QB (like Mariota) if he can improve throwing the ball.

So are there some pending domestic abuse charges coming against Fields that enticed the Chiefs to trade for him?

Andy's going to run some wild formations with Fields and Mahomes out there at the same time.

Bring back the outside veer!

Makes their moves (or non moves) make more sense. There was talk around this trade at the deadline, I'm good loving the 30th pick in 3 rounds for waddle and #11 in the 4th. Another injury prone player who I'm told likes to drop the ball? Perfect.
