I don't think you take Woolen for much if you take him. You bring him back as a discount bin "devil you know".

He is legit a reason the Hawks lose games but his raw talent is hard to deny.

Yeah I dunno, Love and Witherspoon cannot keep pace with the really fast WRs, Woolen is worth having around even with the occasional brain fart. Just not at the kind of money I'm seeing get tossed around here.

I like the Etienne signing for Saints, especially since Jeremiyah Love's Combine explosion probably put him out of their Draft range, at #8.

17x3 for Shaheed. Given the contracts getting handed out today that's actually probably a slight discount. Hell of a lot better than that Mike Evans deal, that's for sure, JFC that's a bad signing.
If this is actually true then it's a pretty great deal? Feels like this says way more about the Bucs cause surely they offered him more guaranteed than this and he still left.

The Broncos are re-signing Alex Singleton to a two-year deal worth $15.5 million with $11 million guaranteed.

Lol Geno Smith back to the Jets. Definitely tanking for first overall. They'll be the best 3-14 team ever! Gotta assume Aaron Glenn is back in Detroit this time next year.

Pats sign WR Romeo Doubs, admittedly know very little about him.

Thankfully it's really a one year deal, hopefully they invest in the position in the draft. Alex is a nice story but he's a bit of a liability and I'd love for him to get replaced sooner rather than later. Strnad and him as your starting ILB may lead to a bad time

Geno Smith is the greatest tank commander I have ever seen. No Raiders QB since Aaron Brooks/Andrew Walter in 2006 has been bad enough to sink the team to last until 2025 and the funny thing is that Pete was actually trying to win with him lol. If he starts the bulk of games that should guarantee the Jets a 32nd place finish.

I guess the Jets thought there may be other suitors interested if he hit the market otherwise I don't see why they trade for him. Good for the Raiders as they save a bit of cap space and move up 20 spots late in the draft.

Kind of a disaster for the Ravens for this to happen after most of the top FAs have already signed. Bit of a mess for the Raiders too because how can you keep him now? Someone will surely offer a mid/late round pick to take a flier, but do you take that if you're the Raiders just to get rid of him?

After Baltimore was gutted this week, did they tell their docs to raise the bar a bit to keep those 1sts?

Sounds like it was indeed concerns with the physical. Puts the raiders in a tight spot after their free agent spending frenzy. Ope

Going by how the Raiders worded their release, clearly they believe that the Ravens got called feet and backed out using their medical as an excuse. They’ll probably spend the money on Hendrickson and save the pics. Pretty greasy move. Raiders have the cap space to take Max back but it’s not ideal circumstances.

So maybe holding out Crosby the last two games (which was a big problem for him) wasn’t just a tanking tactic?
Not sure why physicals wouldn’t be done earlier for all involved?

Well seeing as none of the deals that were "signed" so far are actually done, tomorrow could all of a sudden be very chaotic. This renege by the Ravens could set off a chain of more reneges now that the market has materially changed.

Bit of a longer read, but good explanation of the whole situation from a technical standpoint https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...canceled-trade
