Hot off the press, Oilers are likely open to moving Nurse this summer. Holy moly….. they actually think he has value.
What possible assets could they attach to move Nurse, who is not a top 4 dman in the league at this point, with 4 seasons left at $9.25MM. 2028 and 2029 1sts??

Nurse has a no movement clause. I heard they inquired last year and he said no.
Besides, he'd have less value that Huberdeau.

If Edmonton's 2029 1st is in play, I'm open to the Flames taking on Nurse's contract. The pick better be unprotected though.

Man oh man that contract sucks. So does Huby, but I’m guessing he’s not going to play it out in it’s entirety given the hip issues.

If they can get out of Nurse’s contract they’ll put the cap space to good use like a Jarry buyout and free agent signings like Lars Eller, Erik Haula, and Frederik Andersen.
