Yeah, I did a bit of research and legit sources say that there is a correlation between nightmares, cardio issues, and PTSD.
In that nightmare I dreamt I had an incident with my neighbor, who I do have trouble with in real life. I have a hard time standing up for myself, and the anxiety over the situation practically leads me into becoming what she’s called me. It’s a long story. I’m not the only one who had problems with her, but no one wants to do anything for fear of retribution. She’s like the local Trump (middle class female version).
I don’t understand people like her. She’s pretty much had a dream life. She was beautiful when she was younger. I know that’s not everything, but I know my lack of good looks has limited many opportunities for me.
She used her looks and “victimhood”to get ahead when she was younger. She can’t use her looks to manipulate men any more, as she is in her 70s. So she plays the victim instead. I’m glad I never had looks to rely on. It must be a horrible thing to lose when it’s all you had.
But, I really need to get therapy to be more assertive, in addition to the cardio thing.
