So who was the guy who stayed insistent Kadri was going to get traded by the deadline? Oh wait, that was me. I will admit I really thought Coleman was going too so that's a miss but I knew Kadri wanted to go badly and I knew the Flames were going to try harder to get him done than anyone just because of the mutual respect.

Fantastic trade for everyone invloved. Happy with the return. Happy that Naz makes Colorado better. Happy that Edmonton (if they make the playoffs at all) will have a tougher path through the playoffs.

I do like that the condition is the better of the two 2nd rounders.

Feels like in the past we've come out on the wrong side of those conditions where we get the worse pick or give up the better pick
