Pretty pleased, Ill give it a 9. If I'm nitpicking i feel like they should have found a home for hanley or pachal as they've kept brz blocked and it seemed like someone would have given a late pick for a guy like hanley who is serviceable but way too old for a rebuilding team. But 20 odd games isn't the end of the world. Maybe moved out pospisil or lomberg for another mid rounder.
But they got the big pieces of work done... kadri and weegar moved and a good haul of picks back. Not much retention on kadri. It was a good week and the flames took a step in the right direction.

Meh? A five? Not sure on the Kadri deal yet. Liked getting rid of him because he was checked out. Coleman should have been dealt. I'm pretty sure his expectation was to be dealt which means we've got a guy that doesn't want to be here. The Weegar deal was surprising and unexpected. Good return on a diminishing asset. Going to come down to the players brought back and what they do for the club. Like Curran, a big center, but mixed feelings on Othmann. Still have to digest some of the pieces.

Top shelf. 9. A top tier prospect would have made this a 10 for me.

9. I thought Coleman was gonna get traded but I'm honestly just happy to see the org fully embracing a proper rebuild

Dammit. I read that wrong. I am a 9, not a 2. Lol.
I was hoping for more 2026 first, which would have made it a 10 for me.
I think it should (won't) put a lot of the hand wringing narratives to rest about ownership retaining, only doing trades they are forced to do by player, not a real rebuild to rest. If you think the direction is still up in the air, then you might need a brick to fall on your head.

10 out of 10. By the time the draft is done we might have the best prospect pool in the NHL.
Coleman might get more next year as well based on some of the returns for guys with expiring contracts.
Strome could get us something next year.
Conroy keeps adding tons of picks.
Conroy positioned this team to play young players and bottom out this year

Points deducted for not meeting my lofty expectations with the Weegar trade. It's tongue in cheek but I'm pleased as punch with how it all turned out

A 9. If we also managed to get something for Coleman it would've been a 10.

Pretty satisfied. Would have been nice to move Coleman too, but I'm sure if the offers were fair he would have been moved.

I voted 9 because I think St Louis did a little bit better than the Flames on their returns. And I was unhappy that the Weegar decision was made public (albeit probably to no fault of the Flames)
Believe in the Conman. I hope even the doubters will appreciate the work he did today

I picked 9 because I can't stand Olofsson and Othmann .

Voted 7.
The Kadri return is pretty good, and I think we got a very good prospect back in Curran, even though he's done for the year after his shoulder surgery.
The Othmann deal is on par. I see a potential 3rd liner in Othmann.
The Strome deal was unnecessary. I would've liked to see more Wranglers with the big club to finish the year. Most notably Kerins, and Stromgren.
I thought we could've traded more players, but it's a decent deadline, that took care of the most important business.

I like how involved Conroy is with the drafting and the collegiate aspects. His moves at the nhl level are one thing but based on his latest interview he's very in tune with the younger prospects
