Coleman especially would be surprising, he's the exact type of piece teams lose their mind over at the deadline. If you're not retaining on Kadri right now then you should 100% be retaining on Coleman to get a deal done.
And we were told that Coleman already moved his family because a trade was basically done.

But in a quiet trade deadline with a lot of players not traded it just could mean that the change in playoff cap and double retention may have made it harder to move players.

Will be interesting to find out.
It probably is...but I'd argue Flames had two of the premier pieces, so if anybody is going to move it should be those guys.

Armstrong seems to have found a way to move Faulk and Schenn and had another deal for Parayko nixed by NTC.

Except that we know trades could be completed and not yet announced. The pain continues...

Nope. His family stayed at their home in Dallas so his wife can get help with their newborn baby.

To be fair it sounds like the Flames had a trade in place with Carolina that was nixed by a NTC.

The story changed today.

I bet your story was always the truth, but not the one many of us heard.

Yeah and without knowing what was offered and rejected we can all pick our truths I guess.

Conroy has moved a lot of assets so he's not afraid to make moves, and has had prices met in the past.

Seems like a tight deadline to me.

My assumption is the rule changes made it tough.
