Still time left but this is on pace to be the most boring trade deadline ever. NHL is really doing a great job squeezing the entertainment value out of the league while jacking their prices for tickets and tv

The NHL changed playoff cap rules and double retention to even the playing field and bring more teams into contention no?

That's adding entertainment.

It may damper the trade deadline, but it certainly makes the actual league more entertaining theoretically.
