Coleman at 2.45m x 1.25 seasons is worth a 1st. If we don’t retain, I’d expect a return such as this one.

He just signed a 6x6 extension with a full NMC in the first 3 years on July 1st. Canucks are dumping him before it kicks in.

The Canucks did a good job getting out from under an upcoming disaster of a contract. While Garland is a good player he will be 30 years old in a week and I wouldn't be surprised to see him being a buyout candidate in a few years time.

The Canucks have an aging core that has never really done much with no real value contracts to speak of... and they have 2 disappointing players signed to big deals for 6 more years in Boeser and Pettersson

The contract that was going to kick in was not great, but I am going to miss Garland. He's a gem of a player. Borderline ####ty human, but gem of a player.
