Feels like Flames should be able to maximize the value on Coleman at the very least. Kadri is tougher I get but hopefully Carolina misses out on Trochek.

I think they did okay on Weegar but still feel it's underwhelming even after sleeping on it. One of those 2nds needed to be Utah's 1st, or the prospect needed to be Beaudoin.

Hopefully Conroy can get a clear win here today like the other sellers have been able to manufacture so far.

Use the retention slot and you'll get a great return.

Obviously that's the hurdle to these deals getting done

I think the Oilers know this will be their last chance, they won't trade Connor until TDL at best and only if they're way out.

Kadri would be much better as 2nd line center than Andrew Copp who can be bumped down to the 3rd line. Detroit also has the cap space and picks and prospects to make big moves.

Lots of teams that still need pieces, there's going to be more trades guys.
This whole sellers vs buyers market is hilarious, we were told 2 days ago it was a buyers market and media were telling Flames fans we shouldn't expect trades for Kadri/Coleman because there aren't offers out there that are good.

Yesterday and today we see very mid bottom 6 forwards going for 2nd's and 1st's (conditional) and people saying its a sellers market now.

The market is what it is, there are certain teams looking for certain types of players and they set a price and will pay that to get what they want. Unless we see a bidding war (and we could if guys don't start moving) then it is what it is.

36 hours until the deadline (ish) - Teams are still very much calling on Kadri, Coleman and likely our depth d-men. I fully expect more moves from CGY.
