I'm just going to say it....
But a lot of people expect a much bigger return than realistic.
One of Utah's top 10 (5?!) prospects PLUS a 1st plus....is not realistic. And Iove weegar. 3 second picks alone for Pete's say people!

I mean.. it's ok. But why did this warrant approaching Weegar 2 days ahead of the deadline?
I was getting the sense of the Flames hand being forced by Utah's offer.
Not sure that's a hand-forcing package.

Seems like a decent prospect. Big plays a position we need and can skate. Obviously you would have rather seen beadoiin and a 1st and tbis is quantity over quality. But it is a proper rebuild trade that will make our own picks better.

Flames have had a knack of finding gold where everyone else scrambles to find the players stat file.
That being said, a sexy brand name prospect seemed like a given at this point.

I like Jonathan Castagna, that's a decent gamble on a player that had developed better then where he was drafted. I mean 3 2nd round picks is still the huge win here.
