Like Calgary is a Stanley Cup contender?
Utah is a good up and coming team.
And Salt Lake City is considered a very nice place to love.

1st plus Beaudoin would be great. Anything else is gravy
Guys a Canadian center with decent size and 2nd in the league in points.

No, Coleman is going too. Because the roster jerseys in my collection are Coleman, Backlund, Weegar (got on NYE on sale at least), and Wolf.
Oh no, is Craig trading Wolf?

Rebuild is on.
And the market for RD with term is clearly a seller's market if Parayko could return Mrtka and a 1st. Offer must be very, very good.

I'd rather go to the Mammoth than the Senators.

Really it makes sense to move Weegar now. The Flames have two guys in the system that are basically ready to take the offensive defenseman spots in Parekh and Brzustewicz. Moving Weegar and Andersson gives them that opportunity.
It makes sense in keeping Bahl, Whitecloud, and Kuznetzov to be the defensive anchors for those two. That way it allows the two offensive guys to have steady guys so they can feel freer to do their thing.

Is there a reason the return isn’t also reported while deciding?

I would be fine if the flames added a big piece to get iginla. I know its not going to happen but you can't help but dream. I really wasnt a fan of him in his draft year, he was a fairly selfish perimeter player but he has improved in leaps and bounds and is a different player now.

I would be good with a 2026 1st and a random prospect. Mid 2026 is a decent get.

Ya I suppose. I just figure if half the trade was leaked out why not the full. But you’re probably right as the others don’t need to sign off on it. Thank you.
