Yep. Trump totally betrayed the Kurds during his first term.
Ya can’t think Turkey would be very pleased of a potential Kurdish state emerging as a fallout to all of this. Pretty remarkable stuff taking place. Then again it seems like Turkey is already very much involved as Iran just sent them a ballistic missile. It’s so hard to predict where this all is going to lead to. Very much uncharted waters being stepped in here.
Kurds also have a lot of autonomy in both Syria and Iraq. If they end up getting the same thing in Iran, you would have to think that they are going to have the power to form their own state, which honestly IMO, they deserve.
I have no idea how things are for Kurds in Iran. Being part of the larger Iranian ethno-linguistic group themselves, are they as keen on separation as they are in Arab countries and Turkey where they stand out more as linguistically and culturally different? (I know Kurdish and Farsi aren't 100% mutually intelligible, but they share a lot of vocabulary and many can speak both).

What does "preserve Anglo culture" mean to you? To me, that smacks of white nationalism, so I'd ask you to explain it.
What government interventions are you unhappy about exactly? The government typically exists to keep us safe. So "intervention" regulations for you know... clean water and driver's licenses? Those feel important.
Funny to bring up healthcare when you live in the only western democracy without single payer universal coverage. The right wing conservative doesn't support that.
Same deal with education. The right wing has dismantled the department of education.
I think both sides support roads. I suppose you could argue the left is in favor of mass transit and bike lanes.
The housing market is driven by supply and demand, as a direct result of capitalism. If immigrants are buying more housing and increasing prices, that's something the free market supports - we both know that only a commie wouldn't support the free market?

I don't live in America, never said I did. We have a decent healthcare system here that receives mostly bipartisan support. Education hasn't been "dismantled" here.
Preserving Anglo culture means exactly that: businesses run by locals, so not every second store is a Chinese grocery or Indian restaurant. Signs in English, not Mandarin. No entire suburbs that are full of unassimilated immigrants. Again this ties into limiting immigration so Sydney doesn't start to resemble a satellite city of China or India.
The more people you let in and without producing commensurate supply, the more out of whack the equation is, driving up house prices. So rampant immigration needs to be curtailed before housing spirals out of control. This is a key election policy of the right wing party here.
