They budged. I mentioned yesterday that 5.75 M was where they were at (Sherwood) and they would explore trading him. 6 M imo is a bit much.

Good. I think most GMs already knew the upcoming UFAs were going to be pricey, but this should mentally hammer home the point.
Colemans $4.9 million and Kadri's $7 million look ever so slightly better with signings like this

Typical late bloomer. One of the hardest (and arguably) best shots in the game. He should get 30 there.
But man, that's a lot of dough to put on a guy that's never done it before. I love it for the player, though. Grinds a career and generational wealth out of significant hard work and dedication.
