And coming from a poster who is routinely pro-Trump, it would be rather unusual for you to post something that "has nothing to do with Trump" (even though this strike on Iran has everything to do with Trump).

So yeah, pardon my incredulity. "Nothing to do with Trump" my ass...
For whatever reason, it seems important to you that I support Trump. I don’t.

I do support what the US (lead by Trump) is doing in Iran.

I also don’t support Carney, but I do support some of the decisions he has been making. It’s not always black and white, blind support or blind hatred.

Don't imagine he'll last long if so.

Quote:
President Donald Trump said U.S. military strikes on Iran have eliminated much of the regime’s anticipated leadership succession bench, raising new questions about who will emerge to lead the Islamic Republic following the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

"Most of the people we had in mind are dead," Trump told reporters Tuesday. "So, you know, we had some in mind from that group that is, is dead. And now we have another group. They may be dead also based on reports. So I guess you have a third wave coming in. Pretty soon we're not going to know anybody."

The president said the worst case scenario would be someone taking over "who's as bad as the previous person."

TRUMP SAYS IRAN WANTS TO TALK BUT WHO WILL LEAD AFTER KHAMENEI?

"That could happen," Trump said. "We don't want that to happen. It would probably be the worse you go through this, and then, in five years, you realize you put somebody in who was no better. We'd like to see somebody in there that's going to bring it back for the people, and we'll see what happens with the people. You know, they have their chance."

The remarks come as Israeli strikes hit the building in the holy city of Qom, Iran, associated with the country's Assembly of Experts — the 88-member clerical body constitutionally responsible for selecting the next supreme leader, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Effie Defrin confirmed to Fox News Digital. "We struck a few targets involved in terrorism."

Iranian media has claimed the building was empty at the time of the strikes. Israel does not yet have a battle damage assessment, Defrin said.

The White House has said 49 top Iranian leaders were taken out in the opening phase of the campaign, which Trump said put the operation "ahead of schedule."
There is a chance he is already dead.

I'm sorry that the right wing was co-opted by grifters and Nazi's for their own ends in the United States. But they've fed the right wing base misinformation for decades, and the result is that where there are bastions of educated, well informed, and empathetic people, those right wing views aren't well received.

To put it bluntly:
  • Science is good
  • Religious fundamentalism is bad
  • Racism exists
  • The experts are better than your Facebook feed
  • Brown people aren't stealing from you
  • You don't need to own a gun
  • Most of your problems are the result of your choices, not drag queens
  • What you saw on Fox News isn't true
Just because you think you're smarter than people on the right, doesn't make it true. Lots of people on the right support gun control, abhor racism and don't care one way or another about drag queens.

Your reductive perception of what all people on the right believe only exists in your mind, painting with such a broad stroke rarely leads anywhere good.

Dismissing every dissenting opinion as trolling or baiting doesn't help, why don't you actually try to engage with alternate views with some respect, see if it goes somewhere.

Where are these people these days? Why do we never hear from them?
I don't disagree with your general sentiment of what "the right" should be, but these positions are becoming harder & harder to find.

That must be liberating for those conservatives too.. you know, not to care.

Can more of you just not have an opinion one way or another on things that are totally irrelevant to you and your way of life?

Still waiting to hear a right wing position that isn’t stupid.

Of course, if you are pro gun control, support equal rights, and believe in science…

…welcome to the woke hive mind comrade!

Be careful. You’ll catch Trump derangement syndrom next and start getting vaccinated!

Minimal government intervention in people's lives. Healthcare, roads, education. Neoliberalism. Economic policy that supports privatisation of most industries. Capped immigration so resources, infrastructure and the housing market are not strained to near breaking point, and yes, to preserve Anglo culture.

I can believe in all of that and still support gay rights, strict gun control and your right to wear a dress or stockings.

He brought up the crossdressing example, not me. You really should read the posts I'm replying to, as well as my posts, more carefully.

It's not my thing but I still believe in freedom of expression.

The most extreme views are usually heard loudest. I don't live in Canada so I can't speak to the nuances of your politics, but not everyone on this side is an extremist.

Sorry for the triple post, can't be bothered to go back and edit into one.

Trump is calling the CEO’s of Lockheed and Raytheon into the White House to address the Americans running out of munitions and needing fast production. The US military is currently slated to buy 57 Tomahawk Missiles for the entire year, which once they run out of existing stock would give them roughly a missle a week to launch.

Trump is also expected to be the first time recipient of the “Lockheed Martin/Raytheon Global Peace Prize” for his efforts in the area of peace.
