3 things to know about Stars-Flames: Jason Robertson’s success and more
The Dallas Stars are right back in action.
After a 6-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks on Monday, Dallas returns to the ice to take on the Calgary Flames (24-28-7, 7th in the Pacific Division) on Tuesday.
Flames trade deadline preview: Just how much selling will be done?
The Calgary Flames are sellers.
Have been for months.
So when Craig Conroy and his team arrived in Anaheim for Sunday’s game to find Colorado GM Chris McFarland and his two right-hand men in attendance, the news resurrected age-old rumours suggesting Nazem Kadri might be on his way back to Denver.
A summary of the recent Flames trade rumours and chatter ahead of the NHL Trade Deadline
The league’s annual deadline for swaps between teams is 1 p.m. MT on Friday. (Trades made after that point are technically allowed, but players swapped after that point aren’t eligible to play in the NHL’s post-season.)
Anyway, there’s a lot of chatter out there regarding the Calgary Flames. To set the table for what could be a pretty eventful next few days, here’s how things are sitting as of late on Sunday evening.
Calgary mayor Farkas, NHL commissioner Bettman to attend Tuesday’s game, discuss World Cup bid
The Calgary Flames host the Dallas Stars on Tuesday evening.
It’s the 60th game of the Flames season, and 30th home game of their season. While the game probably won’t be of huge consequence to either team – the Flames are well out of the playoff pack, while Dallas’ spot in the post-season is assured – some of the spectators for Tuesday’s game will be more noteworthy than usual.

So the Kulak trade chain becomes:
2nd (Hutson) + 2nd (29) + 2nd (28) + Skinner for Jarry + Murphy + Poulin
Salary out: $2.75M
Salary in..: $7.575M
LOL

Feels like a trap game for Dallas.
9 game win streak
2nd on a back-to-back
Just finished playing Vancouver who has no effort at all
Playing tonight against Calgary who are near the bottom of the standings, but give a really good effort
If that's the case, then I hope whomever Dallas is interested in from the Flames' roster has a big night.

Good effort versus the Ducks, I hope they can bring the same compete against the Stars on a back to back. Go Flames!

Fine with Pospisil sitting out for now. Lomberghini's been playing some real good hockey for him for a while. C'est la vie.
Maybe you could argue they could sit out a Coleman or Kadri for trade purposes but whatever.

So over the top ...
19 year old with an up and down season shouldn't just be given PP1 reigns.

Something seems not quite right for Pospisil. I hope he's okay. Remember that, on reflection, Cooley realized how he wasn't aware how his thinking was off when he returned from his injury last year.
