I went to TSN's website and couldn't find the full 50 list. Anyone know where it is?
It still seems crazy to me that the Blues want to trade Thomas. A 26 year old center that has been a PPG player 3 of the last 5 seasons signed on for 5 more at pretty much market value. I get the team sucks right now, but he could be part of the solution.
Tells me they're doing an authentic rebuild rather than a rebiggle. Sometimes (rarely) can management have an honest discussion with management as to where they are and what needs to be done to be done the right way. If they're going for it in 3 or 4 years Thomas may be closer to his downside. Why not get a ton of assets now? The Leafs should be doing that with Matthews AND Nylander to rebuild.

So I have bad news, I was in Vancouver and gifted tickets to tonight’s Canucks game, there is absolutely zero chance Vancouver will
Relinquish the 32nd finish this year. That was the the absolute worst give a F effort I have ever witnessed in my life

Like when Chicago traded Debrincat. Rebuilds take many years when done properly. It resulted in Chicago getting Bedard.

There's some question around how motivated the Blue really are to deal him. Dreger has suggested they might just be dangling him to see if someone will make a crazy offer, but they'll be happy to keep him if they don't get an overpay.
Also, Team Canada GM Doug Armstrong had enough clout to get Binnington on both the 4 Nations and Olympic teams, but Thomas wasn't on either, even though his inclusion would not have raised any eyebrows. Maybe an insight into how Armstrong feels about Thomas and his play in high-pressure games.

Thomas and his 35 points on the Olympic squad wouldn't raise eyebrows?

If the Blues are accepting they are just bottoming out then it makes a lot of sense to me.

They will likely win another game or two this season but it's unlikely they win more than 2 or 3 games over their last 22. It's the perfect storm of a bad roster and quitting on the coach.
