I guess it's convenient, because the Iranian regime wants the same thing. The Islamist underlying purpose is to bring about the end times which is one of the reasons why Iran being an Islamist theocracy wants nuclear weapons (as well as to exterminate Jews since the end times prophecy they believe in requires it). I guess Christian fundies in the U.S. found a good dance partner. They're made for each other.
I am a little skeptical of the source though. I did a Google search and the only thing I can find about it is on social media that it seems tracks back to one person. Even the MRFF's own website, doesn't seem to mention the story circulating on social media. Unless it's there and I am missing it, it's a pretty busy site that bombards you with information (although the Donate button is hard to miss). I'm just a little wary that their axe to grind doesn't affect the accuracy of the information.

If true, this would likely be a big news story by now.
Also, while there absolutely are some nutjob Christians in the US armed forces, this sounds too big to be real. This also just doesn't sound like something a lot of US commanding officers would do in unison.
