What's more likely? Spurs relegated, or Oilers golfing on 4/20?

^ Spurs relegated, sadly. Pacific is just too weak.
Sesko is making me eat lots of crows. Happy to do so.

What a joke of a red card in the palace united game. Barely a touch on the shoulder, no grab of the shirt or anything and cunha throws up both hands and goes down like hes shot. Just bails them out. Can't have a smaller team beating one of the billionaires. Can't say how many times a year this happens to us at a smaller club where Chelsea city united etc get bailed out by the refs

Justice there for Chelsea scoring off the resulting corner from a handball by Rice.

Arsenal are wobbling, all the play and danger is coming from Chelsea, who are becoming progressively more dominant. A draw looks to be the extent of Arsenal’s ambition today.
Chelsea are by far the superior side here, just as their 10 men against Arsenal were in the reverse fixture.

Top tier advertisement for how horrible the sport is right now. Terrible outfield play, incessant whining from both teams, and set pieces being the only way to score. Utterly disgusting really.

Arsenal following the tried and tested method of closing out a game in the way that has cost us double digit dropped points this season.

A win is a win this late in the season. Doesn’t matter how. Just keep winning

I want to see Spurs win the Champions League but get relegated in the same season, just to be the first second division team playing in the champions league

It does feel nice to celebrate St Totteringham's day this early in the year.

Felt kind of weird TBH, barely made it past February. I wasn't quite ready for the celebration.

Yep glad I slept through this. Getting to the point where it would be funny if Arsenal choke, instead of just sad.

It's not just Arsenal, check how many goalless draws there has been this season.
Teams are getting better defensively and playing less open.
Arsenal getting good at set pieces was a reaction to this, not the cause.
We used to play the most open football of anyone and go up against 10 man buses most weeks, they'd give corners to Arsenal without care, knowing it almost never resulted in anything. Just don't let them score from open play.
The viewing result does suck, but it's comical to see everyone blame it all on Arsenal.
This is a case is don't hate the player, hate the game.

I’ve lost count of the times when playing open, attractive and exciting football was damned by everyone else as being naive, and that Arsenal were to blame for not adapting.
Now, they are being blamed for adapting.
The problem with football goes way beyond this because all teams are risk averse, and football is covered in a way that encourages risk aversion. Win 1-0 and you defense and professionalism are praised. But if you consistently concede a lot, but score more, you’re defensively frail.
Watching football is progressively becoming more of a chore, so these days, if I haven’t got a horse in the game, I rarely watch, or give it ten minutes to see how its going, before switching off.

Overcoached, devoid of personality, and lacking talent is the issue with club football right now.
On the other hand international football tends to be a bit more entertaining now because the divide amongst teams has closed and coaches don't have as much time to hammer boring football into their teams.

The root cause is financial inequality between club budgets.
The small clubs had to play closed football or get torn apart by open play against the mega clubs. The big clubs then have adapted to breaking down the defensive walls and set pieces naturally become more important.
Now everyone is coaching towards these very structured & rigid systems.
