I saw it last year at CUFF and it was really fun in a loud / packed audience.

Starting to feel like I should start a James Bond thread . . .
The Living Daylights 3/5 - I'm pleasantly surprised how good Timothy Dalton's first turn at bat is. It's grounded spycraft, with just enough camp that it avoids tipping into goofiness.
A License to Kill 4/5 - I actually love this one. It's volent, gory, and co-piloted by a merciless Robert Davi. Similar to Casino Royale, they swapped toys and gadgetry, but instead of ...*checks notes*.. poker, they went all-in on drug-war brutality, and a vendetta-fuelled Bond who behaves more like an assassin than a gentleman spy.
I had not seen either of these, and was going to skip the first (glad I didn't!) It’s a shame Dalton ended his stint here, he delivered a solid two-film run.

I saw Wuthering Heights in the theatre. I went in cold having only seen the poster
I generally like period pieces, and I enjoyed the book 30 years ago.
Uhhh... I was not expected that.
Great visual design, sets and acting. But wowzers BDSM fetish. The dog collar and leash stopped me mid-sip of my soda pop.
I pity the fool who took a first date to that on Valentines Day. Unless it unlocked some kink play for them both, in which case all the power to ya.
It's an art piece for sure. 7/10 if you like that.

10 Things I Hate About You.
8/10 Maybe I am nostalgic, maybe it's a damn good movie. Other than the cringier than hell paint ball date scene, this movie is rock solid. It's been said before, but why the hell don't we get raunchy teen coming of age movies anymore?

Was going to go see Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die and saw it's already completely out of theatres in Calgary. It ran for what, 1 week??

I caught it last week at Westhills, Sam Rockwell and Gore Verbinski sold me. It was fun but really out there, got quite wacky. I'm not a fan of AI, even when it's watching a movie making commentary but I got past that. I would have saw it eventually, glad I went.

It was fun. Strange, but fun. We had a good time with it. Had a vibe of "don't let them know your next move" with a general theme around AI.
Found it to be reminiscent of the Cornetto trilogy.
Sam Rockwell's monologues made the film, he's great. The part with the "zombified" gen-alpha school kids glued to their phones and the teachers not being able to do anything about it cause they'd get scolded was bonkers, but my friend (a former teacher) confirmed it aligned with his experience.

Ya, I went with wife to see it at the university VIP theatre. I can't say I understand the emotional reaction from the mostly early 20s crowd at the final outcome, or any swooning over the main fellow, who demonstrated himself to be quite deplorable.

That sounds like a cool premise. Is it in theaters, or streaming somewhere?

I like James Bond movies fine as popcorn flicks, but I immediately forget everything about them between leaving my seat and walking through the exit. They're basic escapism and it's preposterous you guys are going on and on about them and ranking them as though they aren't just comfortably mid.
Who even are you people?

It's free to stream if you have Crave. It's a good watch as an alternative non-fairytale take on Cinderella.

Ugly Stepsister I think was #5 on my favorite horrors of 2025.
Alt-cinderella story with the added horror of Victorian era cosmetic procedures.
