How many depth guys have the oilers signed for too long and too much only to end up waiving them not a year in

Jfc just sign them for 1-2 years ya dopes

Also 7 more years for Frederic and 6 for Wallman

You would have to think that the Oilers already put out a memo that he was available and if someone wanted him, they would have offered future considerations for him. I think this is just them making a last ditch effort, but he most likely doesn't get claimed. They'll take the $900K in cap and move on.
