People actually like Swiss Chalet? I'm not sure it's a step above 7-Eleven or Tim Horton's food which should be classified as "only if absolutely necessary".

I think it's an Ontario thing. They are everywhere there and basically non-existent everywhere else in Canada.

My wife's family is all about Swiss Chalet and I don't get it, at least on the Ontario side (on the Quebec side, it's St. Hubert's which pretty much the same but a bit better IMO). Any time they want to go out for dinner, it's the first choice. I get it I guess in that it is the type of place that probably has something on the menu someone can tolerate, but I have never had anything there that is better than I can get anywhere else. In fact, I can make almost anything on their menu at home better than they could. I would literally rather just get a grocery store rotisserie chicken and save the money.
I am pretty sure almost everything Swiss Chalet serves just comes from Sysco or some similar wholesaler. You are basically just paying them to heat up food for you that you can get anywhere, Red Robins or Applebee's, nothing stands out for me.

These guys come in and it’s always a nice polite one. You serve them because you dont want to cause a scene. And then they become a regular and after awhile they bring a friend. And that dude is cool too.
And THEY bring friends and they stop being cool and then you realize, oh, this is a Nazi bar now. And its too late because they’re entrenched and if you try to kick them out, they cause a PROBLEM. So you have to shut them down.

Harvey's biggest downfall is their burger patties. They're not pure beef, especially the Angus burger that is formed to appear freshly ground. I've heard someone compare it to worms because of the texture.
I'll still go for an original because a ton of toppings can cover any evil.
