Do you believe Iran was close to getting a nuclear weapon? And if so, do you believe the last 30 times they used that as an excuse, that all proved to be false?
I can find reasons to support action against Iran, but I'd like it to be done from positions that are grounded in truth and reality. Don't lie to me. Pretty simple request.

Yeah, the nuclear program is a lame reason for our PM to include in his statement.
You had me at human rights violations.
And also specify that this operation of unseating the regime doesn't include the 'inadvertent' bombing of elementary schools by Israel or the US.

Or just watch from outside and keep letting the regime kill majority of citizens who want a change but cannot overthrow the regime internally.
There's a reason people flee from dictators. Countless examples. Cuba. Chile. Iran. List goes on and on.

In Carney's defense he is just trying to keep the US happy for Canada's sake, it bears no relation to what he or other world leaders actually think, the attack was going to happen anyway so it doesn't matter a jot what he says, he's doing his best not to make trade talks any worse with the Diaper Don, the Saudi's will no doubt officially condemn the attack while in private cheering the US on, this is just 'after the fact real politik'

I know it complicated and I am not saying that the attacks on Iran are justified, but I am sure the above is true. My upstairs neighbours who are from Iran have already started the party and have been laughing and wooting all day. Lot's of cars driving around with Iranian flags honking in my neighbourhood.
