The Iranian regime is despicable. But there is no way the US and Israel are going to let Iranian citizens retake their nation.
The most likely scenario is, the US will attempt to bomb Iran into submission, while the Israelis bomb the hell out of civilian areas. If that is successful in toppling the regime, a puppet will likely be put in place while the US extracts a price that will include US control over resources and resulting revenues.

They bombed a school.
On Saturday morning, an airstrike flattened the Shajareh Tayyebeh elementary school in Minab, a city in Iran's southern Hormozgan province. The girls inside were between seven and twelve years old. Around 170 students were in the building when it was hit.
Iran's semiofficial Mehr News Agency now reports at least 63 students killed and another 60 injured. Sixty-three children. In a school. On a Saturday morning.

Look I have no problem is that noxious and brutal regime is taken out, and sent to have their misdeeds punished in hell.
However once again listening to Trump, it sounds like there is zero planning if the Regime falls. You can't just kill a government and say "To the Iranian Citizens take your government its yours to talk"
Nature abhors a vacuum and the its more likely that we see a civil war in Iran to fill that vacuum and end up with an even more government.
Does that mean that I'm against taking out the Iranian government? Absolutely not.
But we saw what happened in Afghanistan and in Iran when there was regime change or disruption and no post war plan.
From a pure military standpoint when you have one of the leaders of the IRGC saying "yeah, we're shooting weapons from the back of the warhouse and you haven't seen our wonder weapons yet" tells me that the promises of hypersonic missiles and wonder weapons from Iran were hollow, and for the second time Israel and the US have achieved total air superiority which is bad news for Chinese and Russian anti air technology.

100%. Jimmy Carter's humanitarian work after his presidency was absoutley legendary. People can say what they want about his presidency, but the man had empathy for people and brought prestige to his, and the Oval Office's, legacy with his amazing huanitarian work. He will forever be a better president, a better man, and a better human being than Trump could ever hope to be.
