5 of the last 6 first overall picks are Canadian. This year it's a coin flip but McKenna is certainly looking like a worthy first. 2027 Dupont or Joseph could easily end up the first name called. 2028 Maddox Schultz looks like a weapon.
Long way to go for Nicol and the others but encouraging signs.
Seems like a good player. Hard to get excited for these players future at that age though. How big is he going to get? He is 5'6" at 14 so he's due for a growth spurt. Not that size makes or break his chances but it makes the road to the NHL harder.

From 14 on boys can still grow another 3-7 inches.
You never know. I hit 5'11" when I was 12. I grew less than 2 inches since. My buddy was 5'8" until he was 16, then he shot up to 6'4" by 18. I don't like my buddy.
