He looked completely spent in the tiebreaker. Acapulco is a tough one with the humidity and heat. It would be interesting to see how many players could handle best of five sets there.

Felix into the semi-finals in Dubai following a 6-3 7-6 win over Jiri Lehecka. That was some excellent tennis from FAA, only quibble might be going 2 for 9 on break points, but credit to Lehecka, he really stepped up on those break opportunities for Felix.

yes, and it's all night tennis, i don't think the program starts until 6pm.
i don't know why Zverev is messing around in Mexico every year

Felix eliminated by Meddy 6-4 6-2 and while the set scores don't look great, I think Felix played a very good match today. The problem was Medvedev was close to the Medvedev that won the US Open five years ago. It's pretty clear that he is over that shoulder injury that really plagued him for close to 18 months.
Oh well, still a good week for Felix, onwards to the Sunshine Double.

Both tough matches for Draxl and Galarneau, Van Assche recently won a Challanger title in France while Buse made some noise at the Rio Open including defeating Fonseca.
