Frank no longer works for the Nation Network. It's really as simple as that. He was appearing on Network shows when he also had his own show on the Network. He was head of content at Daily Faceoff. Now he works for Victory+ which is technically a competitor. I can't speak for anyone else at the Network but I found Frank to be exactly the same as a colleague as he is a public figure.

On 960 this morning George was joking about asking Frank about politics. Haha. They decided not to chat about it at all.

A Canadian station tripling down on how much they dislike Trump like wtf? That's not the kind of hockey show I'm looking for personally. Keep it about sports. There's enough podcasts out there talking about politics.

They asked him about his own statement which addressed the politicization of the USA Men's Gold Medal win. It's not like they were foaming at the mouth to make it political.

And he absolutely defended Trump. He just does it in that cowardly way we see here all the time: deflecting a question with a hypothetical. And when the hosts didn't respond the way he wanted or acquiesced to his hair-brained rhetoric he short circuited. And, as with all these closeted Trumpers, he acted like a victim.

They didn't once "bash" Trump. They just wanted Frank to admit that none of this is normal, so to treat and address it as such is just as absurd as the reality of the situation. The only one that got worked up was Frank because he doesn't have the capacity to think outside of the box of sound bites and Tweets.

If you want to keep it about sports then maybe have a chat with Guerin and his group of ass-kissers that invited and fully embraced Kash Patel in the locker room then laughed alongside a sexist pig when he made a joke about women's hockey.

The players were the ones that made it about politics when they allowed Patel in their room, laughed at a misogynistic joke from Trump and then accepted an invite to the White House.

There's no way sports podcasts were NOT going to talk about it.

Actually though: they've undergone identity fusion with Trump. Thats why they excuse him even after the facts presented against him are indefensible. An attack on Trump = an attack on their judgment, morality, intelligence, etc. At least, that's how it's recieved.

It's a cult thing.

Also why he gets a get out of jail free card for literally anything and everything that he does that would incense them if a democrat did it.

No one said they were happy with everything that every president did.

For the record though, Trump ordered about 2,243 drone strikes during his first two years, then removed the policy that required him to report drone strikes.

Obama ordered 543 - 563 in 8 years by most accounts. I did see another report that said 1873 but that's still far less than Trump.

Both of those numbers suck. One is far worse, and the attempt to hide it, worse still.

But maybe this should be brought to the off topic forum.
