I get the sense that Dreger has been on to something for a while but wasn't given the go ahead to spill anything too detailed. Before the Olympic break when asked about Coleman and/or Kadri, he mentioned that Colorado would be working to clear some space before the deadline and that they might be interested in one or both. I guess we'll see.

I do really think that some team might surprise with a Brandon Carlo like overpay for Whitecloud.
Defensively responsible RH dmen that can play 20 minutes a night on your second pair and top PK unit are hard to find and generally always are that piece that championship teams have a hard time finding.
With his playoff pedigree and his contract he should be really sought after by a lot of teams looking to take a step in the playoffs.
