Funny thing is before the Olympics I was telling my neighbour that I think the US has a stronger all round team than Canada. I shouldn't get in the prophecy business.
Except Canada totally outplayed the states , not sure how you can say the US is a stronger lineup, their goalie saved it from being a blow out.

If he doesn’t get chopped in the hand there, what happens? The McDavid hate here is stupid. Makar deserves #### for the last play as does flat footed MacKinnon.
Not sure how people who watch hockey think like this.
3 on 3 is about possession and McDavid 2 times in a row went 1 on 3 and turned the puck over. One time the puck almost ended up in the back of the net and the second time it did.
Makar and MacKinnon were defending a 3 on 2 and had a bad bounce

Said it all week but this, like the 4 Nations experience has cemented the fact the McDavid will want to go chase cups somewhere else that has this same sort of winning positive vice, sooner than later. His 2 year contract is well setup for this, not by coincidence and the Oilers fully know that.
But his request to move and get the Oilers exploring a trade could come this summer now instead of next.
That loser re signed in Edmonton. He deserves to never win a cup. Absolute loser player.
Silver is the worst lol that medal ceremony was so painful to watch and that teddy bear for the second round of the most disappointed faces in the world, you couldn’t help but laugh lol
A summary, but spoke about how they were all thinking about him and had his jersey up in the locker room the whole tournament. Said he's here celebrating with them today.

Hockey Canada needs a complete gut from top to bottom to get some fresh ideas into the organization.
Borderline dominate the game (after the 1st anyways), easily the better team, miss some wide open nets, a breakaway............and we need to gut Hockey Canada?
This feels like a bit of an overreaction.

I hate myself for doing this, but I’m doing it anyway.
Connor Bédard does the most important/difficult thing in hockey at a level that very few can do it. He puts the puck into the back of the net. He should have been on this team.
I’ve been complaining about it all olympics. Canada always overthinks the roster. While Im at it, Matthew Schaefer is a top 5 defenseman in the NHL right now.
Enough of the loyal vets like Doughty and Stone.
