Helleybuck will collapse at some point. Just have to settle down and get in front of him. Would be nice if Marchand, Bennett or Wilson could screen a little in front of him. We need it.

All the skill in the world and for the third straight game Cooper has them out there overpassing the puck.

Hockey Canada needs a major enema.

Crosby's absence is feeling enormous.
No signs of poise and leadership out there.

We have very few great chances even though we’ve dominated offensive possession. The Americans have had more point blank scoring chances than we have.

Kadri or Huberdeau would have scored there.

First goal was incredibly important, lotta gripping sticks going on. McDavid over thought his breakaway and now they really are feeling the nerves. They get one and the dam will break

McDavid needs to realize that he can win this game on his own. Everyone seems intent on deferring.

Need to be a little more selfish on chances.

We have no lack of finishers.

US confidence has to be crazy high, breakaway and long 5 on 3 fail. Won't get any better chances

Kadri would be doing better than Marchand, that's for sure.

FFS. The coach doesn't tell players to overpass the puck.

Your obsession with blaming coaches for players' miscues is ridiculous

Wilson: Hits like a linebacker, dives like a soccer player.
