Still plenty of time in the period, but man, it feels like it's just not in the cards for Canada this time. This Finish team is solid and they're doing a great job defensively. We're having a tough time generating any decent chances with this Finish defence clogging everything up.

I really do attribute this to linemate decisions. He is looking pass because he knows he's playing with other guys who are in his weight class. If he's playing with Hagel and Horvat he's far more likely to just take the lead, including taking the shot.

At this point Cooper has to wear this. The team is way over passing the puck and he needs to be driving home a shooting mentality.
His style may work in a 7 game series, but in a 1 game winner fake all his patience will not work.
