Going to be a very tight game at 5v5, special teams likely the difference.

Bennett pretty much directly responsible for 2 penalties against and the goal against.

Canada's wingers and dmen need to be better. I do wonder if they would have been better to take at least a couple more natural wingers, their board play has not been very good all tournament especially on zone exits and I wonder how much of that is having very few natural wingers on this team that are used to doing that more.

D-men need to move the puck faster. Finland is all about structure, the second the dmen delay it allows the Finish team to get in their defensive posture.

Bennett needed to get into a pre-lim game to get that crap out. It's always the case. You can't throw him into an elimination game and expect him not to overdo it right away. Now I doubt we see him much.

That was such an unnecessary move by Bennett at this point in the game. I could see it if they were desperate, in the third, when the whistles are put away and if Saros was standing on his head. But now?

I’m still not over them taking Bennett instead of offensive depth like Bedard or Scheifele. Just totally braindead and redundant with Tom Wilson on this team (who has also been bad aside from the first game).

Finland is playing the same game as the Czechs. That’s a little concerning being down by one where they’re collapsing down low. They have a great lineup if it’s a lockdown situation to grind it out but now I’m a bit concerned about the constant rolling of the McDavid line.

Heh, missed it, didn't think he had seen a game yet, my bad.

Yeah it's hard to understand what happens in his brain sometimes. We'll see if he gets a chance for redemption and if he does anything with it.

You're allowed to laugh, Maclean. But only if you say something actually funny.

Wow McDavid skating on to the ice really set the tone. Great analysis. You could really tell it translated to the actual game.

Good to see the absurd McDavid coverage doesn’t stop for the Olympics.

I don't mind having Bennett. I haven't noticed much good out of Jarvis.

Guys like him don't regulate their play. They play an aggressive and reckless style. When it works, you get the benefit, but you always have the risk of a dumb penalty.

The risk is higher with the Olympics because the game is called tighter.

But I think if you are playing him, you are accepting that risk.

5/15 on faceoffs is not good enough.

Man this panel is rough. Just have Duthie and Bieksa and call it a day. The rest are making terrible jokes and boring assessments.
